Hi, I’m Sam.

I’ve spent 15 years as a creative in the ad industry, specializing in building ambitious brands and telling stories that have soul. Strategy is my love language and I’m always down to nerd out about unique ways to engage audiences — because one size definitely does not fit all.

I’m passionate about staying ahead of cultural, technical and media trends, and aligning those insights with audience cravings to put brands at the center of the conversation. The fun stuff…

  • As a passion project, I designed the interior of The Little Village Play Cafe, which is objectively the happiest place on Earth. That project led to many more interior design clients, and today I offer residential and commercial interior design services through One Smith Studio.

  • The coolest things I’ve ever made are a little boy and girl who call me “Mom.” You’ll usually find us outside – hiking, camping, fishing or skiing.

  • DIY and interior design have always been hobbies of mine. Those hobbies evolved into an interesting experiment when I started sharing them online during the pandemic. I quickly grew a community of over 40,000 people passionate about the content I was creating. The platform has been valuable testing ground for crafting authentic content, assessing product promotion tactics and navigating influencer/brand relationships. These insights afford me a uniquely valuable perspective for helping clients stand out in social, digital and earned media.
