Over the span of more than a year, I had the immense honor and responsibility of talking with survivors of domestic violence in an effort to share their stories and strength with the world. With tissues in hand and tears on our cheeks, our team of volunteers and community members came together in support of these families and Sojourner Family Peace Center.

The result is a movement dedicated to spreading awareness about domestic violence and providing each survivor with the support she needs #untilshecan find her strength.

Each quote used in this campaign is 100% real. They were pulled directly from the stories survivors shared with me as they opened up about the hell they’ve lived through. They spoke of everything from mental, physical and financial abuse to finding out their children had been molested by their partners.

These stories are hard to read. Hard to hear. And hopefully, hard to ignore.

This campaign is just getting started and more components will unfold in months to come. Learn how you can help share her story #untilshecan at https://www.familypeacecenter.org/untilshecan

SHARING HER STORY #UNTILSHECAN

Many survivors of domestic violence cannot share their stories for reasons of safety, healing or both. So, #UntilSheCan have the freedom to speak her own truth, we asked influential community members to give a voice to her story. // Featuring Tiffany Ogle, Talk Host of The Morning Blend
